EL CANTO DEL LOCO

El Canto del Loco is an important Spanish pop-rock group formed in 1994 by Dani Martin and Iván Ganchegui. Throughout their career, they won several awards, including the Onda de Música Awards.
One of the members who lasted until the end is David Otero, who joined the group a day before their first concert. Later, Chema Ruiz and Jandro Velázquez joined along with Dani Martin and David Otero. They recorded a demo that made its way into the Ariola discography thanks to producer Pedro del Moral. The group received a call from Paco Martin, discoverer of bands like Radio Futura and Hombres G, who proposed a challenge to them to release an album. They won it, and in 2000 they released their first album with great success.
Finally, in 2010, problems with the producers and the death of Dani Martin's sister led to the group's separation.
